Now, I was already having my business running by then and adding another one will be a burden. If you are running your own too, you will understand the predicaments that I would face either from personal or business perspective.

However, that seemed to be not a case.

After I did some research on affiliate marketing advantages. I waited no longer and jumped into affiliate marketing till now without ever regretting.

What resources do you need for affiliate marketing?

Unlike a normal brick-and-mortar business, you only need a PC and an internet connection.
How many staffs do I need?

This is the most interesting part. Initially, you only need yourself. That is it.
How many hours do I need to spend each day?

Each person has different capabilities, I have been in this industry for 2 years. I spend an average 2-3 hours a day.
What programming skills do I need to know?

Initially, you don't need. You can use many free platforms like Blogger, Squidoo, Weebly, Hubpages and many others.These sites are very easy to use such that you can have it running 'live' within minutes after you signed up with them.

These sites which I mentioned earlier are absolutely FREE.

However, I have to be honest with you. A free lunch comes with its disadvantages.

So, having your own site will definitely be an advantage for you.So, if you want to have your own site, you need 3 things which are:
- A Domain Name which costs around $10 for a name which ends with .com at the time of writing.
- Web Hosting.
- Web Page - Initially, you only need 3 pages at maximum(it depends on few factors). You can hire a web developer to build a simple site for your affiliate marketing purpose. Do some price comparison between few of them and make a good decision out of it.
Where can I get the products?

Affiliate Networks are the place that you should look for products. By typing in affiliate networks into Google, you can get list of affiliate networks.

I would recommend you to start looking for products in a well-known affiliate networks like ClickBank, Commission Junction and Linkshare.

There is another method where you can type in the "industry name + affiliate programs" in Google or other search engines like Yahoo or MSN.

Remember, that to become an affiliate is absolutely free. No FEE is required.
How fast I can get sales in affiliate marketing?

Now, this is a tricky question. I would like to warn that if you are promised by an internet marketer that you can earn money the moment you buy his/her product, then you better run...

Affiliate marketing is just like a normal business in that you need to put effort and play it hard. However, the major benefit it has over a normal business is that you can expect your results to be fruitful within 6 months.

However, that is also not a fair statement as each one of us have different capabilities, different skill-set, different concentration level and different needs.

I know some people have made a good income out of it within 3 months of consistent effort and some even in 2 years.

Just like in every industry, you need to understand the rules,regulation,techniques and strategies of affiliate marketing and together with an right mindset, you can get results within the time frame you have set.

My advice to you: Treat it like a business or job.

Now, sometimes even you get a positive feedback for the product from the forum, you have to know on which stage of the learning curve you are. You have to know whether you are a newbie, intermediate or advanced internet marketer. Now, you already aware this, then google it for review on the product. Be aware that sometimes reviews that you read are by the affiliate marketers who just want your money.
Send email to the person who creates the ebook or the software. Gauge yourself on the speed and the accuracy of the answers that you receive. However, you should not be expecting a person to reply as soon as possible. You should be aware of the time zone differences, either the person is working only day time or night time etc. Perhaps, they have assistants or customer service placed already or even a private forum.

When it comes to marketing whether online or offline, what you need most is integrity but it did not stop ONLY there..our whole aspect of life must be based on integrity.

How do you show to your audience that you are person of integrity?

Integrity is not built within hours or days, perhaps if you have a powerful aura which people cannot dismissed even though they know you for the first time then you are a lucky person...or perhaps you can mince words in your article that the audience will trust you immediately..

However, I am talking about the vast majority of internet marketers.

Personally, I have not reached the success status yet as I am still grappling with the Internet Marketing strategies and techniques.

Not only that...I would like to create integrity first followed by sales and I will have my joy doubled.

What have I learned(and still learning) in Wealthy Affiliate, an internet marketing training program of which I am a member, is to have an integrity.

What an interesting post made by a wealthy affiliate friend of mine..Ok..He is not really a friend but at least he is my online friend whom I never met before..

That is ok..as long he is known among the Wealthy Affiliate members as a helpful chap and does not mind sharing his affiliate marketing stuffs with anyone..

This is the thing I liked about this community..especially the forum..full with helpful and genuine people..DEFINITELY..

The post he created today titled" Don't Lose Money by Playing Hot Potato"

Basically, he was talking about the way you write your articles to your audience must be the way you talk with your family member, friends etc..

It is not like you are 'writing' to a stranger, it has to be on personal level..

Maby, I have known about it but I did not have the awareness of it...

I have jotted down on my notes that whenever I write it has to be like talking to a family or friend...and I've forgotten about it..

When you are talking to your family or you friend, you care for them hence you are showing that you understand their needs..and of course respect their needs without jeopardizing your needs..mutual understanding and respect.

This time onwards, I will try to write like I am talking to my father, mother, brother, sister or friends because I want to send a message that affiliate marketing is gonna be something...

That affiliate marketing will be huge in future that anyone who has computer and without any programming skills can do go good in this industry..

So, I have decided that from now on, I will be more relevant to you by really 'talking' to you and give you only quality stuffs.
